One of the UK’s top emerging chef talents and a group of international key food influencers have visited Norway, the seafood nation, on an inspirational study trip organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council. The Norway-UK Seafood Summit, organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council, returned to Fishmonger's Hall, London, on 27 February 2023, following a two-year break due to the pandemic. The Summit drew nearly 200 stakeholders from the seafood sector and related industries, where the two countries reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen and develop seafood trade, with sustainability in mind.

Seafood From Norway today announced that all winners of the National Fish and Chip Awards 2024, run for a second year by the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), will get the chance to go on a once-in-a-lifetime study trip to Norway in June. There, they will experience firsthand how delicious Norwegian cod and haddock is responsibly harvested from Norway’s cold, clear waters.
