Press release -

Pride Autumn Celebration will have you walking on sunshine!

Pop star Katrina Leskanich, of Katrina and the Waves, is the star performer at this year’s Bury Pride autumn fundraiser.

Now in its second year, this glamorous celebration of diversity takes place on Saturday 2 November at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich.

Hosted by diva Miss Vivienne Lyndsey, the evening includes a red carpet drinks reception, three-course dinner with wine, an exclusive raffle and music from a Tower FM DJ set.

Special guest will be Katrina who, with the Waves, scored a worldwide hit with “Walking on Sunshine” and their song “Love Shine a Light” was, in 1997, the last British entry to win Eurovision!

Tickets are £35 per person or £300 for a table of 10, and proceeds go to Bury Pride and local LGBT+ causes.

To book tickets, call 0161 253 5903 or 0161 253 7064, or email d.catterall@bury.gov.uk
