Chris Boardman special guest at cycling forum

Olympic gold medallist Chris Boardman is special guest speaker at next week’s Bury Walking and Cycling Community Forum.

New members are welcome to attend the online meeting, which is organised by Bury Live Well Service and takes place on Thursday 13 May at 6pm.

Chris, who is also the GM Walking and Cycling Commissioner, will talk about the Bee Network (the walking and cycling network linking people and places across Greater Manchester) and take questions afterwards.

Also speaking at the forum will be Rowan Ardill, the new GM Mayor of Running.

The agenda will include updates on local infrastructure and the repair and maintenance fund, and the latest news from borough engineers about crossings, active neighbourhoods and new foot bridges.
