SILVA launches Eterna – binoculars designed for marine activities
With porro-prism design and extensive light throughput, these binoculars are intended primarily for marine use. A key feature is the fixed focus - after a one-off adjustment for your individual eyesight, the binoculars offer full focus on all objects from 7 meters onwards and no manual focusing is needed. This is perfect in rough seas or when searching for objects on the surface. The binoculars are also rugged, robust, nitrogen filled and 100% waterproof. And if you happen to drop the binoculars in the water, it floats.
Madelene Jonsson Öhlin, Head of Sales & Marketing;” We have a long history within the marine business with our boat compasses and we have previously had similar binoculars in our range that have been much appreciated by boat owners. That is why it's really fun to re-launch these nice binoculars, now updated with features that make them some of the best marine binoculars on the market."

Three entrepreneurial brothers. One great invention. In 1933, Björn, Alvar and Arvid Kjellström invented the first ever liquid-filled compass, and our story began. Not only was it the first compass of its kind, but it also set the global standard for how navigation works. The SILVA brand was born. A few years later, in 1935, we expanded our business with our new invention, and first headlamp, Zeiler. We have since then continued to evolve and set trends for outdoor equipment. The SILVA brand is currently marketed to the Nordic region, Europe, Asia and North America. Since 2011, SILVA is owned by Karnell. For more info, please visit www.silva.se
