Don’t let your training routine be limited by the dark

Towards the end of the year, daylight hours become fewer, perhaps in turn resulting in a temporary adjustment or disruption of your training routine.Training in the dark is seen by many as a necessary evil, but with access to the right gear this does not have to be the case. With equipment that lights up the dark, both autumn and winter can be seasons to explore new training hours and add further dimensions to training routines. During the autumn, SILVA has launched ten new headlamps that enable new experiences and improve training possibilities, regardless of the terrain.

The new headlamps are designed to first and foremost function as an extension of the human body by improving how the user interacts with external circumstances, such as terrain, temperature and most importantly darkness. Therefore, the headlamps are designed to complement the human body’s movement, functions and reactions.

Furthermore, the headlamps are characterized by their compact size, multiple battery- and attachment possibilities and SILVA Intelligent Light. The latter is a light distribution technology that creates a unique light image by combining a wide-angle flood light with a long reach spot light, generating less head movement and increasing control and balance.

The iconic models Trail Speed, Exceed, Trail Runner and Explore have been updated with new neckplates for a more comfortable fit, more light output and new batteries that enable the user to keep track of varying battery burn time, depending on the outside temperature. Additionally, Trail Runner 3 Ultra is a brand-new headlamp that is optimized for running. It comes with a double battery pack to ensure that the lamp keeps functioning even during extensive runs and races.

The models Limitless Trail Speed and Limitless Exceed are sold without a pre-selected battery, allowing the consumer to either use their current SILVA headlamp battery or choose a battery that is suited for their intended activity. SILVA is also launching two waterproof headlamps of the model Explore, which have been produced to besuitable for outdoor activities both on land and in water.
