About Hurtigruten Norway
Hurtigruten Norway operates the legendary Norwegian Coastal Express, known as “the most beautiful voyage in the world”. We have sailed this route since the very first sailing in 1893, 130 years ago.
We are proud of our heritage, and we transport tourists, local passengers, and cargo alike between 34 small and large ports between Bergen and Kirkenes. We bring guests close to everyday life along the Norwegian coast, offering interesting excursion and local food from the Norwegian Coastal Kitchen, sourced from around 50 local food suppliers.
In addition to the Coastal Express, the company has two fully commercial ships along the Norwegian coast. MS Trollfjord with the Svalbard Express and Nordkapp Express, and MS Otto Sverdrup which sails the Norwegian coast from Hamburg.
Hurtigruten Norway is part of Hurtigruten Group, the world leader in exploration travel, which also operates Hurtigruten Expeditions, the world’s largest and leading expedition cruise line, and extensive land-based activities – including hotels, restaurants and more – through Hurtigruten Svalbard.
