KHIONE & NENGAL | KEEP PERFORMING ON AND OFF PISTE

Last year Haglöfs introduced the Khione and Nengal collections – two new freeride product families,designed to follow your move on the mountain. Now, these collections have been developed and expanded with the introduction of the Khione 3L PROOF™ Jacket and Pant, and the Nengal 3L PROOF™ Parka and Pant. Each garment is made with Haglöfs’ own high-performance, fluorocarbon-free PROOF™ ECO material, and designed to bring out the best of your ability while tackling any terrain.

The updated collections fuse performance with style and sustainability, and were developed with free skiing in mind, giving you everything you need for epic powder days. They're smartly designed, easy to adjust, ventilated, reinforced and patterned for action and motion, and the Khione and Nengal 3L PROOF™ jackets and pants even contain inbuilt trackable RECCO® reflectors for extra security on the mountainside.

For great breathability and ultimate weather protection the Khione and Nengal 3L PROOF™ jackets and pants have been built with trusty, high-performance PROOF™ ECO fabrics – Haglöfs’ own waterproof, windproof and breathable material, free from fluorocarbons and partly made out of recycled polyamide. So, whether you're on- or off-piste, the breathable and functional 3-layer PROOF™ ECO material will keep you comfortable.

"We developed PROOF™ to be our own sustainable technology – one that can deliver solid protection and high performance. The best way for us to do this was to build it into a series of garments that have to withstand really tough conditions, while also letting the wearer stay as active and agile as possible" – says Jenny Spiik, Material Developer at Haglöfs.

The updated Khione and Nengal collections also include Khione Mid Hood, Nengal Mid Jacket and Nengal Mid Hood. These stylish and functional mid layersare made from recycled “ghost nets” – discarded fishing nets, retrieved from the sea – that has been used in the production of ECONYL®, a 100 % regenerated nylon yarn. Reusing this material benefits the environment two-fold by removing the need to produce more new raw material and, at the same time, helping to clean up the ocean.
