Scandi furniture brand JYSK broke all previous UK records for a store opening when its new Oldham store opened its doors on Saturday (March 7th) at Alexandra Retail Park.
The store welcomed almost 1,600 customers at the tills and queues stretched into the car park as the store counted down to its 9am opening.

Seasoned Scandi retail store manager Natalie Waring will take the helm at Oldham’s new JYSK store which opens at Alexandra Retail Park, Park Road, on Saturday March 7th at 9am.
JYSK, the Scandinavian-owned multi-billion Euro furniture brand, has announced it will open in Oldham in Spring 2020. The group has been breaking sales records in the UK and early last year unveiled expansion plans to match. UK store numbers reached 19 in 2019 with a target that will take the brand to 54 in the next four years.
