Press release -

Woodland tidy-up at Gypsy Brook

Chesham Fold Green Gym is urging volunteers to dig in and improve access to the woods at Gypsy Brook.

This site is part of Chesham Local Nature Reserve and is well used by local residents taking their children to school or walking the dog. Following the wet summer the trees and brambles have become overgrown and help is needed to cut these back so that the paths are clearer for pedestrians and pushchairs alike.

The clean-up day is on Sunday 11 November, starting at 1.30pm. Volunteers should meet at the entrance to Gypsy Brook onDanesmoor Drive, next toSt Josephand St Bede’s Primary School, where members of Chesham Fold Green Gym will provide the tools. Refreshments are available, and young people under 18 are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.
