West is best for Township Forum

Residents in Bury West can have their say about plans being discussed at the local Township Forum onMonday 15 July.

Agenda items include a presentation from the Fire Service about the proposed new Operational Training and Community Safety Site in Wellington Street, Bury.

The council will also give details of its Bury Publication Core Strategy, a planning blueprint on which consultation is due to start in August.

There will also be updates from the Advisory Group, and around the Draft Township Area Plan 2013/14.

The meeting is at Bolton Road Methodist Church and starts at 7pm. The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
