Take a woodland wildflower walk this Sunday

Lovers of the countryside are invited to join a woodland wildflower walk through Redisher Wood Local Nature Reserve on Sunday (8 May).

Naturalist Dave Winnard will lead the circular two-mile walk between 1pm and 4pm in an event organised by the Friends of Redisher Wood LNR.

There’s no need to book – just turn up at the Hare and Hounds on Bolton Road West at 1pm. Sturdy boots and waterproofs are advised, as the gradients can be steep.
