Parks, floods and carers – come and hear

A wide range of topics will be discussed when Bury West Township Forum meets on Tuesday 10 September.

Residents are invited to come along and have their say during the open forum and public question time.

On the agenda is an update from the council about Dow Lane Park, following concerns raised by residents at the last meeting.

There will also be a presentation about Bury Carer’s Centre, and the work it does to support local carers and the services available to them.

Bury’s first Local Flood Risk Management Strategy will be outlined, along with the latest news of the Bury West Township Area Plan 2013/14.

The meeting is at All Saints Church, Hebburn Drive, Brandlesholme and starts at 7pm.
