Join 50,000 households across Bury: sign up for bin collection reminders today!

Bury Council is thrilled to announce that more than half of all households have now signed up for their bin collection reminder emails.

The free service prompts residents to put the right bin out on the right day and keeps them informed of any changes.

Councillor Alan Quinn, cabinet member for the environment, climate change and operations, said: “Keeping our neighbourhoods clean and green is a shared responsibility and signing up for bin reminders is a simple yet impactful way to contribute and keep your home and community tidy.

“If you haven’t already signed up, join your neighbours in making managing household waste a whole lot easier.

Bin reminders are sent by email the day before a collection is due telling the recipient which colour bin to put out and when.
