Hen-pecked at the library!

Another short course on how to keep chickens is being held at Moorside Community Centre and Library on Wednesday 8 May (1-4pm).

The course is free and will cover the basics of chicken keeping, different breeds, how to look after ex-battery hens, housing, feeding, general health concerns, what to look for when buying a chicken and information on where to buy things for chicken keeping.
