Have your say at Radcliffe Township Forum

Health and local priorities are up for discussion when Radcliffe Township Forum meets on Tuesday 13 September.

Residents are invited to take part in workshops that will focus on bringing measurable improvements to the area over the next 12 months.

The meeting is at the Radcliffe United Reformed Church and starts at 6pm

The usual open forum and public question time is also on the agenda.

The future of urgent care provision in the area will be presented by a representative from NHS Bury’s Clinical Commissioning Group, and residents will be able to give their views.

There will also be updates on the Bury Directory, the forum’s advisory group, and the funding available to voluntary and community groups.

NB: A ‘market place’ will take place at 5pm before the start of the meeting, when Groundwork will showcase its Ambition for Ageing Project that will take place in Radcliffe. Ambition for Ageing is a £10.2 million Greater Manchester programme to create more age-friendly places and help people live fuller lives as they age.

Further details: Christine Maksymowski, Radcliffe Township co-ordinator, 0161 253 7941.
