Get ready to vote in May

With only weeks to go, Bury Council is trying to ensure the highest possible turnout for the local and General Elections on Thursday 7 May.

The deadline to register to vote is 20 April, but the council is advising anyone who has not already registered to do so as soon as possible.

The quickest and easiest way to register is to go online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. All you need is your date of birth and National Insurance number and it can be done in five minutes.
