James Frith won the Bury North seat for Labour in tonight’s General Election.

The result:

  • Mark Alcock (Liberal Democrat) - 1317
  • Shafat Ali (Workers Party) - 1917
  • James Daly (Conservative) - 12,681
  • Spencer Donnelly (Independent) - 277
  • James Frith (Labour) - 19,625
  • Anwarul Haq (Independent) - 571
  • Lynda Rosewell (Reform UK) - 7385
  • Owain Sutton (Green Party) - 1747

The turnout was 59%.
