Free places for those looking to build their business

Do you want to start up or grow your business? Then sign up for the latest free advice workshops at Bury Library.

At these Build A Business sessions, you can learn about market research, business planning, Intellectual Property, registration and much more.

Experts will analyse your business and put together a plan for your next steps, and discuss how they can continue to support you.

The next four workshops are held at Bury Library from 10am to 1pm:

Know your market – Thursday 19 September. Do you know who your customers really are? How much they will spend on your product or service? Why they choose one over another? Why would they choose you over a competitor? This workshop will give you the knowledge to research your customer and find sales through market research.

MarketingThursday 26 September. Join Rachel Craig and Karen Macwee from Ruche Marketing who’ll be delivering Build a Business’s new workshop on how to build an effective marketing strategy, plan marketing campaigns, build a brand through consistent marketing, creating effective social media content and more.

Business Basics - Thursday 10 October. Join Wendy Breakell, entrepreneur and named one of the top 50 business advisors in the North West. This workshop covers the ‘nuts and bolts’ of starting up and running a successful enterprise, including legal structures, costs, cashflow and more.

Intellectual propertyThursday 17 October. Intellectual Property can be worth cash to your business. Make sure your product, service, website, and brand are protected from copycats or do not infringe others’ rights.
