Facts and figures at your fingertips

A new data observatory packed with facts and figures about Bury can now be accessed online.

Bury Insight allows anyone – from residents to businesses and organisations - to see a huge range of stats from places such as the Office for National Statistics and the Department of Work and Pensions.

Bury Insight uses Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to map statistics relating to Bury.

It is a single platform which will:

  • Hold all the latest Team Bury organisation profiles such as NHS health information and planning data
  • Include needs assessments, strategies and action plans
  • Enable easier comparison of key data and different areas of the borough
  • Make it easy to export information into documents, reports and updates
  • Help to collect, analyse and publish data, to enable evidence-based decision making

The site will be continuously updated and be improved by customer feedback and variety of data banks.

To access Bury Insight, click www.buryinsight.org.uk. First time users will be asked to register at http://www.buryinsight.org.uk/register and follow the instructions.
