Celebrate fitness with I Will If You Will

I Will If You Will is inviting local women and girls to strike a pose and come along to celebrate at this weekend’s free fitness party at Castle Leisure Centre on Sunday 19 March from 2.30pm until 5pm.

The free fitness party will celebrate the success of the I Will If You Will fitness movement which, along with more than 150 brand partners, has already inspired more than 20,000 women and girls to get more active, more often.

The party will consist of several 15-20 minute activity taster sessions, with participants trying as many as they like over the course of the afternoon. Activities include Piloxing, Yoga, Circuits and Core, Zumba, Bootcamp, SOSA (Solo Salsa), Pound, Boogie Bounce, Clubbercise, Boxing and Kettlebells.

Plus, there will also be the chance to strike a pose with friends in the free photobooth.

Councillor Catherine Preston, deputy cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “We’ve designed the fitness party so that people in the Bury community can come along and try out a wide range of I Will if You Will activities.

“There are loads of sessions to give a go and participants can try as many or as few as they like throughout the afternoon. And with all abilities welcome, it’s a great opportunity to try something new and maybe find the type of exercise that suits you. I’ll be taking part and I’m really looking forward to it – why not give this free fitness fun a whirl, it’ll be a great laugh.”

To take part participants must book a free ticket via the Eventbrite ticket page at www.buryfitnessparty.eventbrite.co.uk. To find out more about the Fitness Party and ongoing activities, visit the IWIYW website at www.iwillifyouwill.co.uk.
