Bat walks at the nature reserve

Nature lovers can learn about wildlife on a series of Bat Walks through the Kirklees Valley Local Nature Reserve.

The next walk will be on Wednesday 20 May, starting at 9pm. Walkers should meet at the Toby Carvery (formerly the Bull’s Head) car park in Brandlesholme Road, Greenmount. A second walk will take place on Wednesday 20 August at 8.15pm.

The walks are organised by Clare Sefton of the South Lancashire Bat Group and Bury Council’s Local Nature Reserves officer Paul Robinson.
