Talkshow "Hello!" to discuss the modern workplace from a design and communication perspective

The Hello! Show is back and is set to discuss important topics about the ins and outs of design during the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2013—all under the sure-fire leadership of experienced hosts Stefan Nilsson, Mark Isitt, and Johanna Agerman Ross.

The Hello! Show is a talkshow hosted by moderators where guests discuss the annual topic from different perspective and different roles. 2013's run will take up future issues about and in relation to design, the workplace, and communication. It is an in-depth look at where, when, and how we communicate with each other and our surroundings, with a focus on the public environments in which this takes place.

"This is a way to communicate experiences from many different perspectives in a bit looser forms, and thus create a common platform where we can discuss the future of communication. We want to create a high-tempo discussion and engage both the audience and guests," said Sanna Gebeyehu, the project's producer.

The talkshow is divided up between three days and has a topic that emphasizes the anatomy of communication in different ways. The main points have been set, but each show has a mix of specially invited guests that create dynamic discussions. In conjunction with each show, businesses exhibiting on Hello will be given the opportunity to present themselves and their products in a creative way for five minutes, with an unlimited number of images, during 2013's new program segment, "Show ‘n Tell". People with creative solutions and ideas relating to the main show's topic will also be welcomed to these segments.

Stefan Nilsson and Mark Isitt, who were the The Hello! Show's hosts last year, are joined this year by Johanna Agerman Ross, Editor-in-Chief of Disegno.

"It's going to be really fun to be on this talkshow, and I look forward to discussing the topic with key players in the industry," said Johanna Agerman Ross, who will be hosting the first day of The Hello! Show on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.

The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair will be held at Stockholmsmässan on February 5–9 2013.

Three questions for the hosts:

How do you communicate design now compared to the past?
"These days, design is discussed in a more open and honest way. When I started at the beginning of the 21st century, people were most interested in the finished product—now it's all about the process."
Johanna Agerman Ross

What is the significance of the office environment as an image for a company to build its brand name now compared to the past?
"The office is important, and there are of course ongoing trends in how the office is supposed to represent the company. We have seen playrooms, coffee break corners, and nap rooms that are, perhaps, not so practical, but they definitely create the image of a specific type of company. These are mainly creative companies, but now it's also spilling over to lawyers and other more conservative branches."
Stefan Nilsson, Trend Watcher

How will our office environment look in 10 years?
"Office environments don't change that much. They follow the trends of the times, but the overall structure remains relatively unchanged."
Mark Isitt, Journalist
