Open Communications welcomes Thomas "Totte" Kindberg as Senior Graphic Designer
Hurrah for the arrival of “Totte”, our new senior graphic designer who immediately went on a personal crusade to elevate the quality and structure of the Open studio. We love you Totte. So do our clients!
When Totte arrived at our new loft space, he looked around, stared up at the sky, gulped down a cup of coffee on the terrace and said: “Wow! Nice place. Now let’s get to work and make Open the best agency in the world!” We like that kind of drive.
He is aiming high
Having worked with Totte earlier and knowing his talents and high ambitions, we are more than delighted to have him aboard. With 15 years as an art director and graphic designer under his belt, he has a sharp graphic eye and has won numerous awards. But that’s not all. He also happens to have good musical taste, a winning personality and just the digital design savvy to raise the bar at Open.
Award-winning track record
Previously, Totte worked at Gyro, a global ideas shop, and an agency called “Det”. While at Gyro, he won both a SPIN Award (PR) and 100 Watt award (top Swedish ad award for effectiveness) for a campaign against prostitution. As part of the campaign, his team built a portable bordello in the town of Visby during the so-called “Almedalsveckan” – a week in the summer when Swedish politicians, the media and decision-makers come together to share policy ideas. Their premise: Had it not been for a law against prostitution in Sweden, we’d probably have a bordello in the middle of Visby right now. The campaign combined a strategic mix of PR, event and digital channels.
Diverse mix of clients
During his career, Totte has worked on a diverse mix of international and local clients, including SAAB, Toyota, Peugeot, Adobe, Logica, The Swedish Football School (Landslagets Fotbollskola), Scandinavian Masters, Ledarna and Svensk Gyggtjänst. Totte has a passion for golfing, fly fishing and knows how to fry a wicked trout.
