Festival Cinema Made In Italy 2023

Italienska Kulturinstitutet i Stockholm, i samarbete med Cinecittà, presenterar den fjärde upplagan i Sverige av festivalen Cinema Made in Italy, som hålls på Bio & Bistro Capitol mellan 7-10 maj. Under fyra dagar kommer publiken ha möjlighet att se nya italienska filmer och möta några av de intressantaste italienska filmskaparna i nutid.

Festivalen föddes med målet att sprida kontemporär italiensk film världen över. Under de senaste åren har den italienska filmindustrin haft en boom, med fler och fler produktioner, även under pandemiåren. Resultatet är en mångsidig och högkvalitativ filmproduktion.

Festivalen invigs den 7 maj med en galapremiär av De åtta bergen (Le otto montagne) av Felix van Groeningen och Charlotte Vandermeersch, en film som vann Jurypriset på Cannes Filmfestival, baserad på romanen med samma namn av Paolo Cognetti.

The Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm is the official Italian governmental body dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture in Sweden. For this reason, the Institute conducts a number of different activities. It organises concerts, screenings, lectures, exhibitions and other cultural events, that with very few exceptions are free and open to the public. It facilitates initiatives that promote the Italian Language in Sweden, such as the coordination of Italian courses with Folkuniversitetet. The Institute collaborates with a number of institutes, universities, museums, academies, conservatories, galleries and publishers, as well as with press, radio and TV both in Sweden and in Italy. It provides documentation and information about Italian cultural life and the institutions working in this field.
