The recipient or recipients of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), the world’s largest award for children’s and young adult literature, will be announced on Tuesday 20 March at 1 pm. This year, 184 candidates from 66 countries are nominated.

This global award is given annually to a person or organisation for their outstanding contribution to children’s and young adult literature.
