Motosumo Community Donates USD 1,173 to fund Breast Cancer Research with #TrainForPink campaign

The Motosumo community has again proven the boundless possibilities of blending fitness with a cause. The recently concluded #TrainForPink campaign, held in the last week of October 2023 in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, had widespread participation from across the globe. The Motosumo community managed to donate USD$1,173, ride a jaw-dropping 175,956 kilometres, and clock 6,325 hours of training; all in the spirit of supporting the fight against breast cancer. The donation will go to the US-based Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), one of the world’s most prominent charities for breast cancer research and awareness.

Motosumo's platform always seeks to unite a community driven by a shared purpose. The #TrainForPink campaign wasn’t just about indoor cycling, but continuing the company’s Cycle for Change initiative by creating impactful campaigns. The teamwork present across Motosumo’s digital platforms is an illustration of what a community united by a cause can do

“For us, #TrainForPink is about the collective spirit of Motosumo and our community,” Motosumo CEO Kresten Juel Jensen, said. “As a digital fitness platform, we are uniquely positioned to unite people worldwide. We’ll continue to use this ability to build a purpose-driven community movement that engages our global community in initiatives that resonate with our core values.”

The next challenge is already building

With #TrainForPink successfully completed, the anticipation for the next challenge is already building within the Motosumo community, hoping to combine fitness, community, and social impact.

Reflecting on the #TrainForPink campaign, Kresten concluded, “We wanted to stand united, harness the potential of our digital platform, and community-centric ethos to make a meaningful contribution towards battling breast cancer that affects so many people. Once again, the support and engagement from our members was amazing, and we hope to continue with these initiatives.'"

Motosumo invites everyone to stay tuned and be part of the upcoming campaigns that will continue to break new ground in the fitness industry.
