Hedin Automotive expands to a leading BMW and MINI dealer position in Switzerland

Hedin Automotive AG has today completed the acquisition of all shares in Alpina Group that was announced on September 14, 2022.

Alpina Group is the largest BMW and MINI dealership group in the eastern part of Switzerland with three full-service dealerships employing some 140 employees in total. The company’s turnover in 2021 was approximately MEUR 117.5.

Through the acquisition, Hedin Automotive further expands its footprint in Switzerland and is now the second largest BMW and MINI dealer group in the country.

Alpina Group’s business is transferred to Hedin Automotive AG as of today, October 19, 2022.

The British newcomer, INEOS Automotive, is launching the long-awaited Grenadier – a rugged yet refined utility vehicle not just tailored to off-road enthusiasts. Hedin Mobility Group has entered into an agreement to acquire the BMW dealers Mats Lindholms Bil AB and Molin Bil AB. The transactions include all activities related to the sale of new and used passenger cars as well as a wide range of aftermarket services, which are carried out at three full-service dealerships Lindholms Bil in Umeå, Lindholms Bil in Örnsköldsvik and Molin Bil in Sundsvall.
