Faber-Castell acquires Robert E. Huber, a company with a long-standing tradition
Acquisition further consolidates market position for fine writing instruments
Stein, Germany. Faber-Castell has acquired the company Robert E. Huber GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of precision mechanical products and components specializing in the production of high-quality writing instruments and accessories for global brands.

Supervisory Board member Charles Graf von Faber-Castell, who was heading the premium division for many years, points out: "This acquisition is a clear commitment to the strategic importance of the premium writing segment. In 2006, the company acquired and successfully continued the traditional brand Otto Hutt based in Pforzheim, Germany.
