Faber-Castell holds its own in a difficult landscape

Faber-Castell achieved a satisfactory business performance in the 2023/24 fiscal year despite increasingly challenging market conditions: The company could maintain a strong return on sales above the pre-Covid level of 19/20 even though these declined slightly compared to the previous financial year. Faber-Castell is strengthening its focus on creativity-enhancing and sustainable product concepts.

Changes to the Faber-Castell Supervisory Board

In accordance with the company’s internal regulations regarding age, Gerhard Berssenbrügge will step down as Chairman of the Faber-Castell AG Supervisory Board at the end of 2023. He will be succeeded by the former CEO of the Schleich Group, Dirk Engehausen, as a new supervisory board member.

Faber-Castell acquires Robert E. Huber, a company with a long-standing tradition

Faber-Castell has acquired the company Robert E. Huber GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of precision mechanical products and components specializing in the production of high-quality writing instruments and accessories for global brands. Faber-Castell reports a strong increase in turnover

In the 2022/23 financial year, Faber-Castell generated the second-highest turnover in the company's history. After markets largely recovered from Covid-19 restrictions, the company realized a strong increase in turnover of 24,2 %, with sales rising to 649.2 million euros, up from 522.6 million euros the year before.
