The fourth industrial revolution has brought technologies applicable to different fields. One of them is education, and unlike the technologies that until now have been software or hardware tools for teaching and learning, these new technologies allow us to enter a new dimension. Technologies such as environmental sensors, personal sensors, artificial intelligence and big data offer us the possibility of monitoring and responding to the needs and challenges of both teachers and students in the classroom in real time, which can significantly help teachers to make decisions, as a complex task.
The event is part of the lecture series "Digitalization of Education or Education in Digitality?" of the "Medienkompetenzzetrum Vechta" and takes place during International Week at the University of Vechta. It allows you to learn about current developments and engage in discussions with experts from academia and practice. Furthermore, with the support of the Career Service of the University of Vechta, the lecture series contributes to the career orientation and employability of the participants under the conditions of digitality.
