POETRY - Moves Poetry to the Walls
In their new wallpaper collection, Boråstapeter has looked for brand new places for the unwavering desire to express ourselves by moving words and shapes from the books onto the walls of our homes.
With signature contributions from designers Ylva Skarp and Malin Björklund, this is a modern, yet soft-spoken wallpaper collection that has given the genuine handcraft tradition brand new expressions. From strict calligraphic prints to flowery watercolours, this is a collection that is meant to light a poetic spark in all homes.
– We wanted to inspire people to bring out the beauty in words and shapes in a new, yet very simple, uncomplicated way, explains Madeleine Sidemo, designer at Boråstapeter.
A number of the patterns are set against washed or bleached surfaces in order to deepen the sense of true beauty with just a few, carefully selected details.
The Poetry collection will be in shops from October 24 2013. The collection features 30 prints, 12 Mineral and 3 Plain.
