Boråstapeter launches Marstrand II – Coastal Living
The wallpaper collection Marstrand II – Coastal Living is inspired by the beautiful views and magical light found on Sweden’s coast. The wallpaper has a natural colour range and depicts classic features of life on the coast including lighthouses, knots and classic stripes.
Marstrand II - Coastal Living is the sequel to Boråstapeter’s first Marstrand collection released in 2013. Marstrand II - Coastal Living is a timeless, maritime wallpaper collection inspired by our beautiful Swedish coasts and archipelagos. The collection contains of 15 patterns, some of which are treasures taken from Boråstapeter’s archive, while others are completely new. The natural colour scale consists of sunset tones of gold and terracotta, sandy shades of beige and marine blue.
“All designs in the collection are created with inspiration from the simple coastal life. The flora and fauna of the Swedish coast, as well as its beautiful architecture – with its caringly crafted verandas and windswept sea sheds – have also been an important source of inspiration. The result is 15 classic wallpaper patterns which all evoke memories of warm summer evenings with the scent of salty winds and honeysuckle,” says Jenny Hahne Gadd, designer, Boråstapeter.
