SILENT NATURE - A Tribute to the Beauty of Silence

A tribute to the pleasantly beautiful in life which is just around the corner. Nature’s changes are the inspiration for Boråstapeter’s new collection of powdery pastels and graphically neutral stripes.

Silent Nature consists of pervasive light colours and silhouette patterns from nature’s different seasons, which together form a harmonious mix of the soft feminine and the graphic masculine.
"Our hope is that the pure, natural wallpapers, which are particularly well suited to living rooms and bedrooms, will inspire a home furnishing style that uses a little more rustic furniture and textiles", says Ulrica Hurtig, the designer responsible for the Silent Nature collection.

The linen structure acts as a red thread through the collection which mixes the raw and natural material with sophisticated glossy and elegant elements which emphasise the beauty of the details. This in total makes the collection of wallpapers one you can live a long time with.

With inspiration from our Swedish heritage, we create wallpaper for all homes

Boråstapeter is a well-renowned and admired brand. Our name, the direction of the business and
our factory premises have never changed. But, perhaps most importantly, for over 110 years we have
been faithful to our core vision of creating wallpapers for all homes. Today, just like yesterday, we take inspiration from the nature which surround us, our common roots and that which is currently trending and capture this for the benefit of people's homes, both locally in Sweden and also, to an increasing extent, internationally. We strive for quality in everything we do, from production with minimal effect on the environment, to wallpapers with long-lasting contemporary visual expressions which are both durable and easy to put up.
