Revision of Forecast Dividend and Forecast Consolidated Business Results for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2020

IWATA, August 6,2020 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) hereby announces that, at the Board of Directors meeting on August 6, 2020, the Company has determined to revise the forecast consolidated business results for the fiscal year ending December 2020, which was undecided at the announcement on April 24, 2020, and to revise the forecast for the end-of-term dividends announced on May 29, 2020.

The financial forecast was not decided due to difficulties to reasonably calculate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Group, however, we can announce an earnings forecast based on currently available estimates.

Although the year-end dividend is not determined as yet due to difficulties in calculating the earnings forecast, we will announce the dividend forecast based on the released earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020.
