Since its launch in 2000, some 44 million children have participated in the World’s Children’s Prize Program, which is the world’s largest annual rights and democracy education initiative empowering children to become changemakers who stand up for human fellowship, the equal value of all people, the rights of the child, democracy and sustainable development.

Qui sera cette année élu Héros des Droits de l'Enfant, le lauréat à qui sera remis le Prix des Enfants du Monde (PEM), prix décerné par des millions d’enfants et que l’on désigne souvent par « Prix Nobel des Enfants » ? La nouvelle sera communiquée le jeudi 9 mai à 14.30 h au château de Gripsholm, Mariefred, Suède. Les Héros de Burundi, Haiti et Inde seront présents.

World’s Children’s Prize – education for a better world

Since its launch in 2000, close to 50 million children have learned about the Rights of the Child and democracy through the World's Children's prize Program. The majority of the participating children live in poor, fragile countries and are learn-ing for the first time that they have rights.
