Launch and Vision
The project kicked off with a hybrid meeting in Brussels on May 13-14, 2024, gathering over 150 participants from 50 consortium partners. whatt.io was among the key stakeholders discussing the future of DPPs and their critical role in supporting SMEs through upcoming European regulations.
Objectives and Deployment
CIRPASS-2 builds on the successful foundation laid by its predecessor, CIRPASS, aiming to foster widespread adoption of DPPs in targeted sectors. The initiative will validate DPPs in 13 lighthouse pilots, showcasing the system's functionality in real settings. These pilots are designed to demonstrate interoperability and the feasibility of cross-sectoral data management essential for circular business models like reuse, repair, and recycling.
