​Wayout wins 2020 Good Design Award for their microfactory design concept

Wayout received a prestigious Good Design Award Accolade in the Equipment and facilities for production and manufacturing category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

Japan's Good Design Award program is a uniquely comprehensive platform for design evaluation and advocacy. Exemplary design in many spheres, with the potential to drive industrial growth and enrich lives, is found and shared through the program, which has a distinguished history and has grown to an unmatched scale. Over more than 60 years, the G Mark logo has become a familiar sign of good design.

The Good Design Awards Jury praised Wayout, commenting: “"Wayout micro-factories bring together technologies that facilitate a shift towards sustainable production and consumption of beverages. The micro-factories are not only beautiful, but also environmentally friendly and expected to enable prosperous business.”.

The Good Design Award is a movement aimed at enriching our lives and society through design. Since the foundation in 1957, it has been commonly known together with the "G Mark", the symbol of winning the award.
