Press release -

Succession-fever leads to crazy interest for unique hotels in Norway

Apparently, everyone wants to live like the Roy´s in Norway this summer. After episode five of the price-winning show, Succession aired, the sites of Juvet Landskapshotel in Norway nearly crashed. Their site went from 400-500 daily views to 18.500 hits, and the hotel is now fully booked for the summer.

In the story, the Roy’s travel to Norway to do business with “the Swede” Mattson (Alexander Skarsgård) and check in to the beautiful hotel located in the middle of the woods. The hotel, Juvet Landskapshotel, is located on the north-west coast of Norway and has been flooded with interest ever since.

But do not despair, Succession-fans! There are plenty of unique places in Norway where you can stay, where modern architecture meets breathtaking nature - billionaire or not. Unlike the Roy’s, we advise you to leave your drama behind as you take in the full Norwegian experience:

Kilsti Compact Lodge

Not far from where Succession was shot, you will find Kilsti Compact Lodge. The beautiful cottages overlook Storfjorden, a stunning fjord surrounded by steep mountains. Here you can go on mountain hikes, explore the fjord or just enjoy the view from the outdoor hot tub.

Manshausen

Further north, near Bodø, you can check in and almost dip your toes in the sea. These coastal cabins bring you so close to the elements and are perfect for both couples and solo travelers. Here you can go for hikes, enjoy the sauna, eat fresh sea food in the restaurant or explore the coast by kayak.

The Bolder Sky Lodges

Up in the clouds, high up in the mountains, you can find the Bolder Sky Lodges. A 45-minute drive from Stavanger will take you there. The minimalist cabins offer peace and tranquility as they bask in the unspoiled views of the fjords. Even though Succession didn´t film here (yet), these cabins are near where Tom Cruise climbed the Pullpit Rock in Misson Impossible. https://www.thebolder.no/

WonderINN

A 40-minute drive south of Oslo airport will take you to these idyllic cabins. They are called mirror cabins, and allow the guests to look out, but no one can look in. What could be better? This place offers true zen, some romance if you’re in the mood, and unique views of the water.

Laagen

These modern containers offer minimalistic design and Nordic luxury. Nestled in between the trees, you can see the starry night and listen to the river below. It is simply impossible to be stressed at Laagen!

Woodnest

Nestled in a warm luxury treehouse, at Woodnest you can gaze out over the magnificent Hardanger fjord. Combined with via ferrata to Trolltunga, you can enjoy the ultimate Norwegian experience!

So, what is Norwegian luxury, really? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Squ_xqlOX2g
