Joyride Sailing Team Secures Victory in Second Distance Series Race

Virginia Beach, VA (May 24, 2023) – The Joyride sailing team, proudly sponsored by Yanmar America and GetMyBoat, celebrated a remarkable achievement over the weekend as they clinched an overall victory in their class during the highly anticipated second distance series race, the Cape Henry Cup, May 20 and 21. Their exceptional performance thus far has positioned them as the frontrunners in the overall distance series standings, having secured two first-place finishes and being crowned spring series champions.

Looking ahead to the upcoming PHRF area nationals and Southern Bay Regatta, Doug Bird, the team captain, expressed his optimism, saying, "We're thrilled with our performance so far and excited for the upcoming challenges.
