Shark Aero ULA hits world record

French pilot Eric Barberini has flown faster than current world speed records in the RAL2T category under distances of 50 km and 500 kilometers in a Shark Aero ULA (Ultra Light Aircraft) built with TeXtreme®.

Eric Barberini and co-pilot Isabelle Bernabeu on Thursday December 15th 2011 flew the Shark Aero ULA. The performances have been flown under supervision of the FFPLUM, French microlight federation. Average speed obtained on 50 kilometers closed circuit was 270 km/hr.

Shark Aero are using TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabrics to reduce weight, improve mechanical performance and enhance surface smoothness.
