A Showaddleywaddley Belter of A New Year To One And All!

A quick note to say that 'The Simpleton’ - the title track from my new album of the same name - is released on Friday the 26th of January. The song will be available to stream on Spotify and to download from Bandcamp.

Once again, you’re very welcome to download it for free, it's entirely your choice.

With this here email I’m lamely attempting to do what I believe they call a “tease”, and tempt you with a wee taste of ’The Simpleton’, so you can see and hear a clip of the song and video by clicking on this TikTok link.

What?…What d’you mean you’re not a TickerTocker? Wow! Where've you been at? I thought we were all doing it now?

Full disclosure; it was actually my first time on TikTok this week and it nearly killed me with frustration just uploading this one clip.

Anyway, if you’re not on TikTok, please consider joining and following me, since I’ve plans to use the platform reasonably regularly over the coming months and beyond.

Frankly, much as it pains me, it currently seems to be the platform with the most users and therefore the furthest reach to a potential audience, and to be blunt, I could really use a shot of the heady, intoxicating sweet taste of validation.

And having some followers on TikTok might at least momentarily satisfy that craving.

Even saying ‘TikTok' kind of sticks in my throat, but I’m hoping that with the world seemingly very interested in piano music at the moment, I might get some traction through TikTok for ‘The Simpleton’, so please share my clip if you’re on there or when you finally get with the herd and join up.
