Euston incident: Passengers warned disruption will continue into Saturday

London Northwestern Railway passengers are being warned to expect continued disruption to services across the network on Saturday morning following a serious trespass incident on Friday evening.

The incident, which happened near Wembley, led to dozens of cancellations and significant delays at London Euston after the power network was shut down to allow police to dealt with the incident.

Although all lines reopened at approximately 7pm on Friday following the three-hour closure, due to the large volume of displaced trains and traincrew, passengers are being warned that journeys are likely to be further disrupted on Saturday morning while the network recovers.

Passengers due to travel on LNR services on Saturday morning are being advised to check their journeys before travelling and look for information on any relaxation of ticket restrictions.

Passengers can visit nationalrail.co.uk and lnr.uk for up-to-date departure information or follow @LNRailway on Twitter.

Any passengers delayed by 15 minutes or more on Friday or Saturday can claim refunds on their journey through the Delay Repay scheme - for more information see lnr.uk/delayrepay
