Episode Two of West Midlands Railway’s podcast features Pete Waterman and Francis Bourgeois

Music legend Pete Waterman and railway social media star Francis Bourgeois are among the guests on the second episode of West Midlands Railway’s “On The Rails” podcast, out today (Tue 21 Nov).

In the second episode, pop empresario Pete explains his passion for the railway and how he wrote some of the UK’s most popular pop hits whilst travelling on the train. Social media sensation Francis also discusses why the railway means so much to him.

The second episode of “On The Rails” seeks to entertain and inform passengers and follows the success of episode one, which listeners helped reach the Top 10 in Apple Podcasts’ automotive section.

Jonny Wiseman, WMR customer experience director, said:

“On The Rails gives listeners the opportunity to hear stories and learn information about the railway which they may not have been aware of before.

“The podcast features insightful interviews from industry experts and celebrities - I look forward to hearing what people think about the second episode.”

Both episodes of “On The Rails” are available here. The podcast is also available to stream via Spotify and Apple Music.

The podcast is also available here on the website of WMR’s sister company, London Northwestern Railway.
