Visa Europe today announces the expansion of the Visa Europe Payment Tokenisation Service (VEPTS) to enable financial institutions and others to integrate tokenisation into services such as mobile payment apps, e-wallets, and card on file payment options.
UK cardholders will be able to load their cards and use Apple Pay starting today. Apple Pay marks the debut of Visa Europe’s Payment Token Service. Visa Europe’s tokenisation technology is behind Apple Pay and offers enhanced security to protect against potential fraud You can use Apple Pay at any contactless terminal. There is no spend limit on upgraded terminals
