Pillar Data Systems: Channel development tops NEMEA business agenda for Pillar Data

Jonathan Hebbes, Regional Director, NEMEA at Pillar Data Systems (www.pillardata.co.uk), has today announced that he will be placing reseller empowerment at the top of his business agenda as he refreshes the company’s 2011 sales strategy in Northern Europe.

Hebbes joined Pillar Data Systems in January 2011 and was immediately tasked with managing the expansion of Pillar Data Systems’ network of specialist resellers in NEMEA. Hebbes explains: “I’ve joined Pillar at a very interesting time both for the company and the storage sector overall. Organisations are facing huge challenges around deploying applications fast and cost effectively, while meeting performance SLAs and managing the application data. The channel will play a pivotal role in helping deliver the next generation data centre.

Before joining Pillar, Hebbes held the Sales Director UK & Eire role at Actuate Corporation where he was responsible for revenue generation in the financial markets. He has over 20 years experience developing UK partner relationships for IT companies including Wang, Informix, FileNET, Witness Systems Corporation, Verisim.
