An audience with Michael Crawford - postponed
With regret, The Sick Children’s Trust must announce the postponement of ‘An audience with Michael Crawford’ at The Guildhall, Cambridge on Wednesday 11 April. The charity’s President Michael Crawford is now unable to travel to attend the event due to sickness. We understand the disappointment this will cause those who have purchased tickets and are working with Michael Crawford, Margaret Keys, Alice Beer, our Cambridge Fundraising Committee and The Guildhall to reschedule.
Michael Crawford’s agent Sue Knight says: “Michael was due to fly to the UK this week but has been unwell with a flu-type virus. Following medical treatment, he has been advised by his doctors that he cannot fly. He is absolutely devastated as he knows so many fans and supporters have bought tickets to the event and hates to let them down. We are looking at new dates at the moment in summer and hope to be able to rearrange for then. Michael passes on his apologies to those who are disappointed and we wish him a speedy recovery and return to the UK.”
The Sick Children’s Trust sends Michael Crawford best wishes for his recovery and will be in touch as soon as possible with news about the rescheduling of the ‘An audience with Michael Crawford’ event.
