Press release -

Five inspirational people changed their career and run their own Creation Station franchise to achieve the flexibility they want.

Five parents who were looking for a more flexible way of working, have been awarded a Creation Station franchise, delivering award winning arts and crafts classes, parties and events.

Finding flexible working that enables parents to prioritise their children and family needs can be a challenge. Many parents want flexibility to have time with their pre-school aged children and also to be there to support their school aged children.

Tracy Skelton from East Dulwich worked in customer loyalty, Julia Scoble from Greenwich was a buyer for Marks and Spencers, Anna Tuson from Haxby was a secondary school textiles teacher. Emma Theunissen from the Isle of Wight has previously lived and worked in Holland in HR, and Joseph Newman worked in Retail in Cardiff.

“After working for a long time in retail and working late nights I am looking forward to having more time with my wife and baby boy, Maxwell" said Joseph owner of The Creation Station East Cardiff franchise "I also wanted to run my own business and have something I can really develop and grow.”

“I wanted flexibility around my family, so I had time to enjoy and watch my little boy grow up. I loved the idea of building up my own business and seeing it grow through my efforts and passion.” smiles Anna Tuson from Haxby, “I was looking at craft activities to do with my own child and found none in my area – thought about maybe setting up a local one and came across The Creation Station and thought this sounds fantastic and I want to hear more. I loved the idea and was so impressed by the level of support given to their franchisees, it just seemed perfect for me.”

We are here to help nurturing creativity and support others to inspire children imaginations.
Creativity unleashes potential and we are here to help inspire children imaginations to help them explore, discover and develop. We work with  parents, grand parents, carers, child care organisations, children groups, local communities, schools and  event organisers to help them nurture creativity through fun and social art and craft activities. We love helping learning through creative play with our award winning educationally based arts and crafts classes, parties and event.

Giving expression to your own imagination in a group setting provides lots of benefits. It helps young children learn to make choices, share, listen, observe, pretend, problem solve, as well as play and interact with others.
The Creation Station has over 75 franchise overs across the UK, has inspired over 105 ,000 children and families and ran the Kidszone for the Olympics in Hyde park.
