STOCKHOLM, Sweden. 25th November 2024 — Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain North have today released a free content update introducing new in-game cosmetics, designed by the community and more, as well as the new paid Hocus Pocus Pack DLC to celebrate the two year anniversary of Goat Simulator 3!
The free update introduces content from the Community Gear Competition, where Pilgor fans from around the world designed and submitted their own goat gear inventions. The 3 most “goated” submissions, selected by the ‘prestigious’ judges at Coffee Stain North, have now been immortalised in the game for all to enjoy. The new goat gears can be acquired through bespoke in-game events in San Angora, and include:
- Bob (the Blobfish) – 1st place submission by Wilem Ménard, aged 16 from France
- Puppet Goat – joint-3rd place submission by Jeroen Vermeulen, aged 18 from the Netherlands
- Grappling Bow – joint-3rd place submission by Evan Jonah Grizzard, aged 13 from Alabama
On top of the community gear chaos, players will see new menu additions like upgraded pop-ups, a News Feed, and an “add-ons” option for the Wardrobe as part of the update.
The new spellbinding Hocus Pocus Pack is also here, introducing 20 new gears (including six with all new abilities), five new challenging instincts, and one new vehicle, so you can save the trotting and get to plotting! These include:
- Dragon Scales (Fur Gear) – Launch a big fire tornado!
- Flying Broom (Back Gear) – Spawn a broom vehicle to fly around on.
- Chain Spirit Boots (Feet Gear) – Link objects together and create chaotic long chains for… reasons.
- Wand Horns (Horn Gear) – Levitate an object and then be able to throw it away with force, FUS RO BAA.
- Owl Companion (Back Gear) – Gain a little owl that follows you around! It even grabs nearby NPCs and objects to give them to you as a gift. How thoughtful.
- Dragon Wings (Back Gear) – Flap new wings to fly in draconic style.
Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, said: “Abrakada-baaa, the Hocus Pocus Pack is here! We can’t wait to see what game-breaking bugs fans will discover using the new magical gears. And not only that, we’re finally introducing the winning goat gears from our community competition. A two-in-one for our 2 year anniversary, it doesn’t get much better than that! Well, I mean it probably could, this is still Goat Simulator 3…”
With these new magical gears and abilities, players will become more villainous than ever before, and the NPCs of San Angora will need a hero to save them from the sorcery… Who will appear to save the day? Stay tuned, as you might find out soon once the next gear pack arrives!

About Goat Simulator
Goat Simulator 3 is a direct sequel to Goat Simulator, a silly game that started life as an April Fool’s joke born out of a game jam. In 2014, Goat Simulator became a true goat simulation sensation, selling millions of units across consoles and PC, as well as ‘earning’ ports to Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and most recently Apple Arcade.
Goat Simulator 3 builds on everything fans of the first game loved, raising the baa to brand new heights (sometimes literally). Goat Simulator 3 originally launched on the Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on 17th November 2022, before arriving on Steam in February 2024.
