LOS ANGELES, California — December 10th, 2024 — The Mobies presented by Samsung Galaxy, the premiere mobile gaming awards ceremony, was held at the Emmy-award-winning Thunder Studios in Los Angeles on November 19th and saw record-breaking viewership with a line-up of winners and announcements from the biggest names in the mobile gaming industry.
The Mobies, now in its second year, experienced remarkable growth, attracting 6.8 million viewers, a staggering 259% increase compared to its inaugural year. Voter participation also surged, with over 8.6 million votes cast, marking an impressive 474% jump from 2023. The landslide increase in engagement further forges the Mobies legacy as the premiere destination for celebrating the mobile gaming industry.
The Mobies set the stage for an unforgettable evening of announcements and reveals from some of the biggest names in mobile gaming. Moonton unveiled a previously unannounced competitive title, Subway Surfers revealed an exclusive trailer for their next update with a QR code for in-game rewards, and Digital Extremes launched pre-registration for Warframe on Android with a launch reward for registrants. . Viewers were treated to a total of 11 different showcases which included everything from launch trailers to exclusive rewards.
The Mobies Showcase 2024 full list of announcements and reveals included:
- Digital Extremes revealed the launch of pre-registration for Warframe on Android and unveiled the pre-registration launch reward, the Cumulus Collection. Fans can pre-register now on Google Play to secure the reward upon launch.
- Moonton unveiled they are working on a previously unannounced competitive title, in addition to presenting the trailer from the M6 exclusive skin: Claude.
- Sybo premiered an exclusive trailer announcing Subway Surfers World Tour Iceland and revealed a QR code for players to redeem a bundle of in-game rewards.
- Lilith premiered an exclusive trailer to showcase AFK Journey, with clips of the upcoming Winter content and never-before-seen items.
- TiMi Studio Group and World’s Edge presented the launch trailer for Age of Empires Mobile and revealed an exclusive code: MOBIES2024 to redeem a bundle of in-game rewards.
- Com2uS and NetEase Games presented the official launch trailer for Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice and revealed an exclusive code: MOBIES2024 to redeem a bundle of in-game rewards.
- Lightspeed Studios and Krafton, Inc. celebrated their PUBG MOBILE Winter Update by revealing an exclusive code: MOBIES2024 to redeem one of 1,000 Fjord Warrior Sets (7 days).
- TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite celebrated their collaboration with the iconic anime series Jujutsu Kaisen by revealing an exclusive code: MOBIES2024 for a free hero pack.
- SEGA shared a trailer for the upcoming multiplayer party battle royale game, Sonic Rumble, set to launch this Winter.
- Pearl Abyss presented a trailer showcasing the recent Kurenai class and announced in-game events are coming to celebrate the game’s 5-year anniversary in December.
- TiMi Studio Group and Capcom presented the launch trailer for the recently announced Monster Hunter Outlanders, showcasing an open-world survival experience.

The Mobies played host to an impressive 20 awards which recognise and celebrate excellence in the mobile gaming industry. MONOPOLY GO! claimed Breakthrough Game of The Year, Donato “TheDonato” Muño took home Mobile Content Creator of the Year and Brawl Stars walked away with the coveted award for Mobile Game of The Year. Other winners included PUBG MOBILE, TikTok and Payal Gaming.

Founded by Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, a mobile esports veteran, and the team behind the Esports Awards, the industry-acclaimed award ceremony watched by 20 million people every year, the Mobile Awards is a new initiative to document, recognise, and reward excellence in the mobile industry.
In December 2022, the Mobile Awards announced the Mobies, a dedicated event series to the fast-growing mobile gaming industry. Following a successful inaugural Mobies ceremony held in 2023, this year's ceremony returned bigger and better to Los Angeles with its awards show and showcase event.
