Assets Here and Pre-Order Here
Windsor, UK – Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) today announced that Survival Kids is now available to pre-order ahead of its launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
Blending charming visuals, intuitive mechanics and a deep sense of adventure, Survival Kids is more than a survival game – it’s a complete co-op experience, purpose-built for the Nintendo Switch 2. Whether you’re teaming up on the sofa, linking up across devices, or jumping online, this is survival made for sharing.
With support for local, online and hybrid play, Survival Kids takes the Nintendo Switch 2’s powerful new social features including GameChat. Friends can team up offline in two-player split screen couch co-op or jump online with up to four players to explore, craft, and conquer the island together. You can even combine modes: two players on one device can join forces online with two more players – creating a flexible mix of local and online play that brings everyone into the adventure.
For those long-distance adventures, players can link up with others from anywhere using the console’s built-in GameChat – whether to coordinate plans or just enjoy the moment together.
Survival Kids invites players to take on the role of four curious kids who find themselves stranded on a chain of uncharted islands. With nothing but a tattered map and each other, they must work together to explore, survive, and uncover the island’s secrets. Every journey is packed with puzzle-solving, co-op challenges, and a crafting system that keeps the action flowing without inventory management slowing things down.
Originally released on Game Boy Color™ in 1999, Survival Kids was a hit that blended open-ended survival gameplay with exploration and story. This modern reimagining expands on the original spirit of adventure, introducing fresh co-op systems and multiplayer flexibility.
Survival Kids is the first time Unity has designed and developed a game end-to-end in collaboration with a publisher partner.
